The Tradition: Komyo ReikiDo is unique in that it merges both the art of healing and a pathway toward Satori—spiritual enlightenment.
Origin of the Name: Reiki is a name used by Usui Sensei for the cosmic energy. This cosmic energy is called "Chi" in China, "Ki" in Japan, "Prana" in India, and "Mana" in Hawaii.
Dual Nature: It is the dual nature of healing and spiritual awakening that makes Reiki such a powerful and holistic practice.
Spiritual Connection: Through this practice, one learns how to harmonize energy with the universe, fostering a deep sense of peace and connection to the greater whole.
The lineage of Hyakuten Inamoto Sensei in Reiki goes back to Mikao Usui Sensei. The line is: Mikao Usui -> Chujiro Hayashi -> Chiyoko Yamaguchi -> Hyakuten Inamoto. Inamoto Sensei was a student of Yamaguchi Chiyoko and went on to found Komyo ReikiDo in 1998 after researching Usui's original teachings. I have trained under the guidance of Sensei Hyakuten Inamoto.
